What is a doggie themed quilt?

A doggie themed quilt is made from custom prints of your favorite dog breed which are sewn together with coordinating fabric into a quilt or wall-hanging.

How is a Doggie Quilt made?
  • Prints of your favorite breed are printed in 8, 12 or 14 inch white cotton squares
  • Squares are sewn together with 2 inch sashing fabric in a complimenting color of your choice
  • A coordinating fabric is chosen for the back of your quilt
  • A sheet of polyester or cotton batting is placed between the front and the back of your quilt
  • All  3 layers are professionally sewn together with strong, attractive stitching
  • All raw edges are bound with coordinating fabric to complete your quilt
  • 100% cotton fabric is used throughout!

I provide all of the materials and labor - you just provide the choice of dog breed for the prints and the color preference for the quilt.

I also make quilts and wall-hangings from your T-shirts from pet related events you have attended over the years.
